“Agroprodmash-2021” has opened

Agroprodmash 2021, the 26th International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry, which is held from 4 to 8 October, has opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The large-scale exhibition occupies six pavilions of the fairgrounds and includes 19 thematic salons covering all sectors of the food industry. 739 companies from 29 countries are taking part in Agroprodmash 2021. Germany and Italy have organised national pavilions.

Producers from Russia’s regions take pride of place. The exhibition features 9 group regional stands from the Altai, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, the Voronezh, Omsk, Penza, Samara and Tula Regions, and the Republic of Tatarstan. They are organised by regional business support funds.

At the opening ceremony, Alexey Vyalkin, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO, expressed his deep gratitude to all exhibitors, operators and visitors – everyone who chooses EXPOCENTRE’s venue. EXPOCENTRE AO organises Agroprodmash with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in close cooperation with federal authorities, business support structures and industry unions.

At the opening ceremony, the exhibition participants were warmly congratulated on this momentous event by Vice-President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Maksim Fateev, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Construction Equipment of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Maria Elkina, Rector of Moscow State University of Food Production Mikhail Balykhin, Chairman of the Council, Director of the Russian Dairy Union Lyudmila Manitskaya, President of the Food Ingredients Producers Union Tatiana Savenkova.

The wide thematic scope of Agroprodmash 2021, reflecting the key trends in the development of the modern food industry, attracts much attention from potential customers and investors. In addition to equipment for food and beverage production, the exhibition also showcases packaging and filling, refrigeration, storage, measuring and control, and weighing equipment.

Ingredients, components, automation and robotised production solutions, food safety, sanitation and hygiene, recycling and waste management, and much more are also of great interest to visitors. These trends will be discussed at the events of the extensive and varied conference programme of Agroprodmash 2021.
